Here at 06 Rounds K9, our primary mission is to build better, healthier relationships between owners and their furry friends! Our staff has extensive experience in both understanding and shaping dog behaviors through a variety of tried and proven obedience techniques to build more independent, confident dogs.

For the last 6 years, our founder has served as a Special Operations K9 handler and it was during this time he was inspired to build the brand we are today! The name "06 Rounds" was essentially a dedication after a very impactful deployment where Chris's team actually lost 2 operators and Chris himself was shot 6 times (6 rounds)...Chris knew that his fallen brothers would want this to be a reminder of how short life can be and how we must make the most of every opportunity we have to take care of one another. That deployment gave a new perspective on life and sparked an everlasting commitment to utilizing his skillset to help others achieve their goals and live healthier lifestyles with their dogs!

Hi, my name is Chris: founder and owner of 06RoundsK9! Happy to meet you! I'm glad you stopped by to see what we here at 06Rounds have to offer!

With over a decade of experience, my passion for training canines began at an early age with cattle and gun dogs! Growing up in Oklahoma, the market for cattle herding dogs was huge, so it only made sense to dabble into that for a short time until I graduated high school. 

Since then, I've spent my years in the military training and utilizing dogs in a tactical/law enforcement capacity, spending the last 6 years of my career as a Special Operations Canine Handler/Trainer.  During my time here, I've deployed on 3 separate teams as a canine handler, which has been an invaluable experience in building and proofing concepts with canines.

I've spent a ton of time learning and honing my skills to understanding and shaping behaviors as well as modifying behaviors to specific needs and wants of the individuals!!! Please let me know how I can help you and your companions!!!

This is Dasko! He loves long walks on the beach and a good chew toy when applicable! lol this furry 90lb bundle of joy is a retired Multi-Purpose Canine for Special Operations! After completing multiple deployments, he's finally earned his down time which he likes to spend staring out the patio door or running around in circles with his brother Diesel!!

Dasko, having been a dog his entire life, has over 7 years of canine experience! He is one of the assistant trainers here at 06Rounds, often helping with reactivity drills, socialization, and structured walk activities! He is excited and ready to meet you!
